Encore, the new performance of Attis Theatre, directed by Theodoros Terzopoulos, completes the trilogy initiated with Alarme and continued with Amor. At the core of the trilogy lies the same theme: the conflict as the mythical origin of creation and time. The dense power, released by the meeting of two bodies on stage, and the sadistic consumption of one by the other, annihilates both of them at the end. The two performers, having a smile as engraved by a razor, whisper “encore, encore, encore”, signifying the continuity of Attis Theatre, which on celebrates thirty years since its foundation.

Encore is not just a performance. It is 55 minutes of great art. Terzopoulos leads the two unique performers of Attis Theatre, Sophia Hill and Antonis Myriagkos, into an ecstatic interpretation and the audience into a transcendent experience”.
Ileiana dimadi, Athinorama, 15/12/16

Encore is the most critically emblematic work of a director heralding his Eros for Theatre as a symbolic locus of unification and destruction. The two actors violated the limits of humanly possible on stage, presenting themselves as slaves of Desire”.
Giorgos Sampatakakis, Theater der Zeit, March issue

“With sarcasm and subtle irony, Terzopoulos directs his most erotic elegy, leading the two excellent performers to extreme interpretating paths. Antonis Myriagkos and Sophia Hill set the stage on fire with their flaming presence”.
Eleni Petasi, Naftemporiki, 14/1/2017

Encore is a performance pure concerning its central idea, consistent, impeccably performed, that points out the power of instinct and the body language”.
Tonia Karaoglou, elculture.gr, 11/1/2017

“The two seductive performers of Encore, Sophia Hill and Antonis Myriagkos, viciously consume each other, whispering encore with a pleasure, which, thanks to the transcendent nature of Terzopoulos’ theatre, becomes archetypical, a sensational pleasure. Terzopoulos’s virtuosity is undoubted”.
Marilena Astrapelou, To Vima, 12/3/2017
