Delbono presents the performance-concert La Notte. For the first time Delbono confront himself with Bernard-Marie Koltès giving voice to ‘The night just before the forests‘, the text debuted on the scene of Avignon in 1977 and remained a stabbing voice in the contemporary literature until Koltès’ death in 1989. An almost autobiographical journey for Delbono. The show starts with a reading of a letter by François, Bernard-MarieKoltès’ brother, who gave Delbono his consensus to cut, operate, almost tear up the original text, in order to weave two lives and two voices. A strong, defiant, angry monologue Delbono, accompanied by Piero Corso’s guitar, plays with great musicality, modulating his voice, tones and rhythms.
