New looks at the circus new

Fifteen years after its “organized” appearance in Italy and thirty from its success on the Francophone scene, the contemporary circus still raises questions and it lives between difficulties and surprising contradictions.
During the day, there will be many speeches about the circus identity and others, which face concrete problems.
The sociologist Emmanuel Wallon will speak about the transgression of the rules, which is typical of the circus art.
Antonio Audino will talk about how, in the liveliest expressions of contemporary scene, the need of debate mixes with the strongest signs of modern reality along with licit pushes towards lighter spaces. It will also be faced the theme of the importance of cooperation and the inner workings of artistic creations, given the international diffusion of circus companies.
Gigi Cristoforetti will touch on cultural politics, which regards contemporary circus in Italy.
